Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

On December 8, 2026, Berlin indie‑folk trio Mighty Oaks will play Täubchenthal in Leipzig. Founded in the early 2010s, the band unites American singer and guitarist Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and British Craig Saunders. Their trademark: multi‑part harmonies, acoustic guitars, clear melodies and lyrics with an inclination toward introspective storytelling that draws on North American folk traditions.

On stage, Mighty Oaks build their songs around these layered voices, letting them breathe between quiet passages and more powerful sections, and work with organic arrangements that remain faithful to the original compositions. Since their debut Howl (2014) the trio has expanded its sonic palette: Dreamers (2017) introduced more expansive arrangements, while All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021) added subtler electric and atmospheric hues without moving the choral vocal sound from the center.
