Vanessa Mai brings her blend of modern Schlager and pop to the stage. After her early years with Wolkenfrei, she has continued the project solo since 2016 and has steadily developed her German-language songs. Productions with Dieter Bohlen shaped the early phase; later, electronic elements, dance, R&B and urban features were added. Today, melodic Schlager meets contemporary pop productions, with lyrics about relationships, closeness and self-determination. Live, she relies on danceable beats, clear hooks and a visual staging that gives the songs room to breathe. On 26 September 2026 she will be appearing at the Messplatz Karlsruhe as part of the 12th Original Karlsruher Oktoberfest.
