The Sisters of Mercy

On 8 November 2026 at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette, The Sisters of Mercy return to the stage with their taut blend of post-punk, gothic rock and programmed rhythms. Formed in Leeds in 1980, the band forged its identity around Andrew Eldritch’s deep voice, sharp guitars and a mechanical pulse, between washes of keyboards and a more frontal energy. The concert draws on a repertoire that has become a touchstone for several generations, from Floodland and its signature songs like “Dominion” and “This Corrosion” to Vision Thing, which is more abrasive and direct, not to mention more recent tracks played on the tour.

On stage, The Sisters of Mercy cultivate atmosphere as much as impact, with a dark, cinematic staging that highlights the contrast between melodic lines and a dance beat. The setlist navigates between revisited classics and unreleased tracks, allowing repetitive motifs, catchy choruses and dynamic shifts to breathe. A return to the heart of their nocturnal aesthetic, between tension, groove and electric melancholy.
