On June 5, 2026, Frozen Fest takes place at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes with a bill oriented toward dark intensities: Mourir, Yarostan, Alta Rossa and Salò.
Mourir deploys a black metal with a cutting grain, traversed by dissonant riffs and relentless buildups. The vocals lacerate, the drums alternate between blasts and slowdowns, and a few melodic clearings crack a deliberately taut atmosphere.
Yarostan moves between post-hardcore and screamo, with taut guitars and a rhythm that plays on abrupt breaks. The sung lines slide into screams, the ruptures revive the momentum, between raw tension and more stripped-down passages.
Alta Rossa lays down its sludge/post‑metal mass: heavy tempos, layers that pile up, gritty textures and low-rooted riffs. The band works on instrumental progression and density rather than speed, for tracks that settle in and advance slowly.
Salò blends black metal and industrial, mechanical pulses and synth pads that rub against cutting guitars. Treated vocals and electronic coldness frame a set where machine and riff move in concert, direct and precise.
