Info
Audrey Hobert brings The Staircase To Stardom Tour to MTELUS in Montréal on June 3, 2026. The American singer and songwriter, born in 1999, writes lyric‑driven pop that moves between intimate ballads and more immediate choruses. A NYU Tisch graduate in 2021, she first worked behind the scenes at Warner Bros and wrote for Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House between 2022 and 2024.
Alongside screenwriting, Hobert grew into songwriting with longtime friend Gracie Abrams, co‑writing several tracks on Abrams’s 2024 album The Secret of Us, including That’s So True, directing videos tied to the project and joining on stage at times. A publishing deal with Universal Music Group opened further collaborations, like Start All Over for British singer Alessi Rose in 2025, and linked her with producer Ricky Gourmet.
Hobert launched her solo project in 2025 with a run of singles — Sue Me, Bowling Alley and Wet Hair — leading to her debut album Who’s the Clown? on RCA that August, featuring cuts such as Thirst Trap and Sex and The City. That year she also appeared with Abrams at the Kia Forum for Mini Bar and made her first TV appearance on The Tonight Show. In Montréal, the set should revolve around her debut and these early singles.
