Corb Lund - Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier! & Cabin Fever

Corb Lund takes over The Park Theatre in Winnipeg on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for Night Two of his album series. The idea is straightforward: two records, played in full, exactly as they were written. Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier! (2007) opens the ride with stories of cavalry, borderlands and western history, built on tight rhythms and plainspoken melodies. Cabin Fever (2012) follows with a lean, back-to-basics set of songs shaped by solitude and the road, shifting from rugged swing to slower, dustier sketches.

Raised in southern Alberta and first known with the indie outfit The Smalls, Lund has since carved out his own path at the crossroads of country, alt-country and folk, often with The Hurtin’ Albertans. His writing is rooted in ranch country and everyday detail, and on stage he lets the narratives breathe, keeping arrangements close to the records while giving the lyrics room to land.

Night Two maps the range of his catalogue by pairing these albums back to back, from high-energy crowd staples to deep cuts rarely heard live, presented front to back with no edits.
