Info

Behemoth brings The Godless IV 2026 to History, 1663 Queen Street East, Toronto, on May 11, 2026. A 19+ event, built around the Polish outfit’s evolution from raw black metal to a dense, theatrical blackened death sound. Led by singer-guitarist Nergal since 1991, the band has sharpened its craft across Demigod, The Apostasy and The Satanist, balancing weight, ritual atmospheres and precision. On stage, Behemoth leans into a meticulous, near-liturgical presence.

From Athens, Rotting Christ adds its Hellenic strain of black metal. Formed by brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis, the group moved from early feral textures to a more melodic, ritual approach, mid-tempo drive and choral layers. Key milestones span Thy Mighty Contract, Non Serviam and Theogonia through Rituals and the recent Pro Xristou.

Deicide represents Tampa’s first wave of US death metal. Centered on Glen Benton and Steve Asheim, the band cuts with rapid-fire riffing, blunt rhythmic attack and openly anti-religious themes. From the 1990 self-titled and Legion to Once Upon the Cross and Banished by Sin, the line stays direct and abrasive.

Immolation closes the circle with New York’s darker, dissonant edge. Since Dawn of Possession, the quartet has favored complex structures, oppressive harmonies and a measured heaviness, carried by Ross Dolan and Robert Vigna. Acts of God extends that path with attention to dynamics and detail.
