Info

American alternative-folk singer-songwriter Vincent Lima arrives in Belgium for the first time on 16 April 2026 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels. Born in Chicago, raised in New Jersey and now based in Nashville, he draws a clear line between intimate folk, highly visual storytelling and a slightly bluesy vocal grain. His touchstones range from Jackson Browne and Cat Stevens to contemporaries like Hozier and Dermot Kennedy, with songwriting where the lyrics take the helm.

As a child Lima was already composing his first songs and taught himself piano as a teenager. On stage he has toured the United States and shared bills with KALEO, Darren Kiely and Jonah Kagen, honing a live show focused on intimacy and narrative.

Released in 2024, the EP Versions of Uncertainty features the single "Orpheus" and uses the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to explore love, loss and hope. His debut album, To Love A Thing That Fades, extends this narrative thread across fifteen tracks. It moves through grief, intimacy and heartbreak toward a simple, persistent idea: what fades is no less deserving of our attachment. In Brussels, Lima will present these songs up close, between hushed ballads and arrangements of cinematic scope, for a performance that puts songwriting and the voice at the center.
