Les Fatals Picards

Les Fatals Picards are coming to the Espace Julien in Marseille on December 12, 2026. Since the early 2000s, the band has carved out a path between alternative rock, absurd humor and social observation, never taking themselves too seriously. Their satirical songwriting, keen sense of self-mockery and easy-to-sing-along choruses are all present. Brought to wider attention with “L’amour à la française” at Eurovision 2007, they went on to release notable albums such as Pamplemousse mécanique, Coming Out, Le sens de la gravité and Country Club.

On stage, Les Fatals Picards favor direct contact, alternating songs that sketch everyday life with whimsical detours, all driven by energetic guitars and knowing backing vocals. Between irony, tenderness and rock efficiency, they champion an offbeat, festive and clear-eyed brand of songcraft built for live performance.
