Ye Vagabonds, led by brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn, weave delicate vocal harmonies and arrangements that bring together bouzouki, guitar and touches of Moog. A prominent figure in the renewal of Irish folk, the duo draws on tradition while opening up the palette of timbres and rhythms. Their new album, All Tied Together, released in January 2026, continues this clear line between ballads, traditional songs and more contemporary hues.
In counterpoint, New Zealander Finnegan Tui sets folk and electronic music in dialogue with finely crafted sonic architectures. His music brings nature into the studio, combining field recordings, a full-bodied voice and discreet pulses. He refines this blend alongside producers such as Charlie Andrew, on tracks that blur the boundaries between acoustic and synthetic without losing the melodic thread.
