Morgan

On 24 April 2026, Morgan takes the mic at The Black Lab in Wasquehal. A French rapper formerly known as Morgan iB, she grew up in a family of music lovers and early on cut her teeth on dub sound systems as an MC before releasing her first tracks online. Having spent some time in Annecy, she joined in 2015 a collective that set up a self-managed studio—an ideal environment to forge a hybrid rap infused with reggae, metal and electronic influences. Alongside La Mante Religieuz, she played increasingly many stages, from festivals to clubs, even opening for Sinik.

Based in Paris since 2019, Morgan has maintained a direct relationship with her audience by sharing freestyles, covers and original compositions. Her universe, between rap, chanson and electronic textures, came into its own on the album Racines (2023) and then on La pomme (January 2025), where she tackles feminism, mental health and contemporary tensions head-on with direct, melodic lyrics. She also explored a different stage facet by portraying Madeleine Béjart in Dove Attia’s musical Molière, performed at the Palais des Sports and later on tour. In Wasquehal, you’ll find that same unfiltered writing and a blend of sounds crafted for a nervy yet sensitive live show.
