Christelle Chollet « Culottée »

Christelle Chollet celebrates 20 years on stage with Culottée, a new show in which her humor and her voice respond to each other. A comedian, singer and actress—first revealed by L’Empiafée and later seen in Comic-Hall, N°5 de Chollet and Reconditionnée—she returns accompanied by her musicians for a performance that mixes sketches and reworked hits.

She draws from pop, rock and popular music, reinvents familiar refrains and brings to life characters with a keen eye, hovering between satire of everyday life and portraits of modern heroines. In Culottée she explores what preoccupies us: work, relationships, social pressures and contradictions, turning it all into material for laughter while still making room for emotion. You’ll find her trademark pace, her sense of stage rhythm and that blend of stand-up and vocal performance that characterizes her work.
