An evening with Bryan’s Magic Tears

Info

An evening curated by BMT: Bryan’s Magic Tears close the Smoke & Mirrors tour and bring Autumns, Tapeworms and Userband together for a collective night. See you on April 9, 2026 at La Station — Gare des Mines, 18th arrondissement, Paris.

BRYAN’S MAGIC TEARS
The Parisian band returns with Smoke & Mirrors, their fourth album released on Born Bad and crafted in the studio with Marc Portheau. The garage/noise vein recedes without disappearing, giving way to a more pop-oriented turn. Benjamin Dupont (guitar/vocals) records every instrument and co-writes four tracks with Lauriane Petit (bass/vocals). Between precise shoegaze, upfront melodies and a taste for extended formats, the band transposes its songs live into dense, shifting versions.

TAPEWORMS
Based in Tokyo, Théo and Margot weave an experimental pop in which club pop, saturated electro house, synth-pop ballads and ambient interludes intersect, punctuated by glitches and sound effects. Grand Voyage (2025) opens a new chapter—freer and more produced—nourished as much by Y2K J-pop as by the French Touch.

AUTUMNS
An electronic post-punk project at the crossroads of dub and sonic experimentation, Autumns lines up incisive rhythms, processed vocals and angular no-wave guitars. The mixing, inspired by dub techniques, sculpts the whole, and the live setup prolongs the intensity with a minimalist rig pushed to the limit.

USERBAND
Initiated by Sarah-Louise Barbett (Musique Chienne, Miss Bean) and now a duo with Yann on guitar, the Marseille-based outfit explores direct songwriting—charged with emotion without tipping into emo—drawn from the rock legacy of the 1990s.
