Info
The Trews bring The Bloody Light Tour to Vancouver, a stop that traces the band’s path from Nova Scotia roots to a tight, melodic rock sound honed on Canadian stages. Formed by brothers Colin and John-Angus MacDonald with Jack Syperek and Chris Gormley, the quartet balances riff-led energy with acoustic turns, big chorus hooks and close harmonies. Early breaks with House of Ill Fame and Den of Thieves put them on rock radio, followed by No Time for Later, which kept them on the road across the country. Hope & Ruin and the self-titled The Trews widened the range with more space and ballads, while the live acoustic release Friends & Total Strangers spotlighted the songwriting. Civilianaires then folded in a more modern edge without losing the band’s direct, guitar-first core.
On this tour, expect a set that moves across the catalogue: tight rockers, slower cuts that breathe, and a few new tracks shaped for the stage. The Trews play the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on February 14, 2026.
