112 brings the Room 112 tour to Toronto with the blend of harmonies and hip‑hop soul that shaped their story. Formed in Atlanta by Daron Jones, Michael Keith, Quinnes “Q” Parker and Marvin “Slim” Scandrick, the quartet came up through Bad Boy Records and set a course between slow jams, mid‑tempo grooves and rap‑leaning rhythms. From their 1996 debut and Room 112 to Part III, Hot & Wet and Pleasure & Pain, then the 2017 release Q, Mike, Slim, Daron, the group has built a catalogue where collective vocals and tight arrangements lead the way.
Case adds his New York R&B touch. First widely heard on Touch Me, Tease Me with Foxy Brown and Mary J. Blige, he followed with albums that track the ups and downs of relationships: the self‑titled debut, Personal Conversation with Faded Pictures alongside Joe, and Open Letter with Missing You, then later The Rose Experience, Heaven’s Door and Therapy. His songs move between ballads and mid‑tempos with a focus on clear melodies and intimate writing.
