Born in London and raised in Los Angeles, she first broke through with The Runaways in the mid-70s before launching a solo career that defined her sound in the 80s. Early albums like Out for Blood and Dancin’ on the Edge set the tone with sharp riffs and melodic hooks, followed by the more accessible Lita, then Stiletto, Dangerous Curves and Black. After a long pause, she returned with Wicked Wonderland, Living Like a Runaway and Time Capsule, staying anchored in classic hard rock with an 80s streak. On stage, she moves between The Runaways’ legacy and her solo catalog, balancing high-energy cuts and slower, more melodic moments.
