Iron Maiden « Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 »

On August 30, 2026, Iron Maiden brings the Run For Your Lives World Tour to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, joined by Megadeth. Two pillars of metal share the stage for a night of galloping riffs, intricate guitars and sharp, kinetic songwriting.

Formed in 1975 around bassist and songwriter Steve Harris, Iron Maiden built a recognisable sound mixing twin-guitar harmonies, driving rhythms and narrative lyrics drawn from literature, history and pop culture. From the early impact of The Number of the Beast through Piece of Mind, Powerslave and Somewhere in Time, the band shaped a powerful, story-led approach that continued with the concept arc of Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. The late 90s marked the return of Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith, opening a new cycle with Brave New World and a steady run of albums up to Senjutsu in 2021. Strong on stagecraft and visuals, the group keeps evolving without losing its signature.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1983 by Dave Mustaine with David Ellefson, Megadeth blends thrash, speed and heavy metal into tight riffs, complex structures and lyrics tackling politics, conflict, belief and social tension. Early releases like Killing Is My Business… and Peace Sells set the tone before Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction defined the 90s era, with Youthanasia pushing a more melodic edge. After lineup changes and a pause, the band returned to form across The System Has Failed, Endgame, Dystopia and The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, continuing to tour worldwide.
