Info
Rhye lands in Montréal on March 27, 2026 at Théâtre Beanfield. Born from the meeting of Canadian singer Mike Milosh and Danish producer Robin Hannibal, the project surfaced in the early 2010s with an alternative R&B approach that blends minimal soul, subtle pop tones and downtempo rhythms. Woman, the 2013 debut, set the frame: Milosh’s soft, androgynous voice up front, stripped arrangements and a feel for dynamics that carries from studio to stage. As Hannibal stepped away, Rhye became Milosh’s vehicle, with a flexible live band leaning into organic instrumentation. Blood (2018) opened a more choral dimension, Spirit (2019) pulled focus to piano and intimacy, and Home (2021) anchored a sound built for the stage.
On stage, Milosh assembles strings, keys and a rhythm section that favors space and pulse, reshaping songs without losing their quiet tension. Between tours and collaborations across indie, electronic and R&B circles, Rhye keeps working around nuance, texture and the grain of the voice. Montréal gets that palette live at Théâtre Beanfield, in a set that moves from hushed ballads to slow-bloom grooves.
