Info
On April 17, 2026, L’Olympia, 1004 Sainte-Catherine Street East in Montreal, welcomes Slaughter to Prevail with Whitechapel and Attila. Formed between Russia and the UK around vocalist Aleksandr “Alex Terrible” Shikolai and guitarist Jack Simmons, Slaughter to Prevail built their name online before dropping the EP Chapters of Misery in 2015, then Misery Sermon in 2017. With Kostolom in 2021, the band keeps a heavy deathcore backbone while opening up to groovier rhythms, bilingual lyrics and more varied structures, all anchored by fast riffs, dense breakdowns and guttural vocals.
Whitechapel, from Knoxville, Tennessee, has shaped American deathcore since 2006 with a three-guitar setup and Phil Bozeman on vocals. From The Somatic Defilement and This Is Exile to the self-titled album, Our Endless War and Mark of the Blade, the band moves from blunt aggression toward tighter arrangements. The Valley (2019) and Kin (2021) add clean vocals and atmospheric passages without dropping the core weight.
Atlanta’s Attila, led by Chris “Fronz” Fronzak, blends metalcore and deathcore with hip-hop and nu metal touches. From Rage and Outlawed to About That Life, Guilty Pleasure, Chaos, Villain and Closure, the group pushes a direct, party-minded approach built on rapid-fire riffs, big breakdowns and vocal shifts between growls, screams and rap-influenced flows.
