Info
After seven years away from the stage, Dany Boon returns with Clown n’est pas un métier !, a one‑man show that reconnects him with that childhood dream: making people laugh, simply. In this new material he mines everyday life, mischievously stumbles over his own foibles and reprises his gallery of characters, accents included, to question what lies behind the word “clown.” No red nose or set piece: a microphone, a light, and that mechanism that turns a detail into a cascade of situations.
On 7 March 2027 at the Théâtre Royal in Mons, he unfolds a stream of confidences and observations, between memories of his early days, small modern anxieties and moments of the absurd. The blend of self‑deprecation and tenderness that has become his trademark returns, along with the desire to start from scratch, as on opening night. A precise, direct return to the stage, where the actor‑director’s experience feeds the stand‑up without overwhelming it, for a simple one‑on‑one with the audience.
