Dany Boon returns to the stage with Clown n’est pas un métier, a new one-man show in which he examines childhood, the stage and the taste for dressing up. After seven years away from the boards, the comedian picks up the thread with his storytelling knack, characters that take unexpected turns and situations drawn from everyday life. There’s no red nose — rather a look at the craft, what it entails and the audience’s place in the game.
On February 27, 2027, at the Bourse du Travail in Lyon, he presents a brand-new piece conceived for live performance, balancing precise timing, accents that go awry and self-mockery. You’ll encounter family, missed appointments, small blunders and a way of speaking that slides between registers. Between stand-up and short sketches, Dany Boon reconnects with his primary motivation: to tell stories, observe and share the energy of the room.
