ShitKid

ShitKid, aka Åsa Söderqvist, brings her uncompromising lo-fi rock back to Supersonic in Paris on 28 March 2026. Between minimal garage, hooky melodies and a punk edge, the Swedish project will appeal to fans of The Cramps, Le Tigre and Shannon & The Clams.

First noticed in 2016 with the single “Oh Please Be A Cocky Cool Kid,” ShitKid quickly followed with EPs and albums: the LP Fish, the EP This Is It, and Duo Limbo / Mellan himmel å helvete, recorded with Melvins. The career has passed through Roskilde, SXSW, The Great Escape and Way Out West, including opening slots for Melvins and U.S. Girls. International press has followed closely (The FADER, i-D, NPR, The Line of Best Fit), as have a number of prominent peers—from Iggy Pop to Billie Joe Armstrong and Fever Ray.

After a break that began in 2020, Åsa reactivated ShitKid to mark the project’s tenth anniversary. The Paris date on 28 March 2026 is part of this new tour, featuring the raw blend of gritty guitars, off-kilter choruses and DIY spirit that define her signature. An opportunity to hear a singular voice of the European lo-fi scene in a direct, unvarnished format made for the stage.
