Sniper

Sniper returns to the stage at L’Oasis Hardanges on Friday, October 23, 2026. Formed in 1997 in the Val-d’Oise around Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj, the group quickly established its writing and themes—balancing commitment, neighborhood narratives and a social perspective. We recall Du rire aux larmes (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006), three milestones that marked a generation and set their unflinching way of depicting reality.

For this new tour, Aketo and Tunisiano are going back out as a duo under the name Sniper (duo version). The idea is simple and clear: return to the basics, revive the classics and open a new chapter with previously unreleased tracks. On stage, the repertoire will be revisited without forced nostalgia, with a tightened energy and lyrics that keep their edge. Iconic songs will sit alongside more recent sounds in a refocused format, freed from the tensions that have punctuated the group’s history. It’s an engagement that reasserts what makes Sniper’s DNA: precise writing, a sense of storytelling and a way of delivering on the mic that speaks to the present.
