Info
Marcel et son Orchestre is back to shake up La Belle Electrique in Grenoble on April 23, 2026. More than three decades of playing with conventions, blending punk, chanson, ska and everything that grooves—somewhere between Bourvil and Metallica. The band has coined its own in-house labels—raggabilly, trash-operetta, selective country, blouck—for a sound that invites as much dancing as raising your voice. Behind the irreverence and the deliberate taste for the offbeat, Marcel keeps the triptych that’s followed him from the start: dance, mess around, call out. Rearrangements of classics, new lyrics, sharp commentary on a daily life saturated with news and suspicion: the band turns current events into stage fuel, deadpan and direct, without losing sight of the party.
Poésie Zéro opens the evening. An angry punk, deliberately basic, flanked by two “quasi-musicians” always on the verge of self-sabotage. Ten more or less blue albums to their name, a string of videos, and a simple motto: spread the International Federation of Zero Poetry everywhere, so every town has its local version. A direct, raw, no-frills opener—ideal for putting the room on edge before the Marcel whirlwind.
