On March 10, 2026, Le Splendid Lille will host Scarlxrd, the British rapper born Marius Listhrop in Wolverhampton. Before taking to the stage, he first made a name for himself on YouTube with a series of vlogs posted under the pseudonym Mazzi Maz, which gathered a large community.

Building on that base, he made a decisive turn in 2015: he removed his videos, redefined his image and committed fully to music. This transition soon brought him to live performance, with a project in which rap energy meets harsher, more abrasive influences.

Also known by the alias Yung Scar, Scarlxrd has honed a dark, taut sound rooted in trap, heard in songs such as “Girlfriend,” “The Purge” and “Heart Attack.” In 2018 he released his first album, DXXM, followed by Infinity in 2019, which established the foundations of his discography and sonic signature. A date in Lille to dive into this uncompromising world, between heavy rhythms and a razor‑sharp flow.
