Altin Gün

Altin Gün, a collective born in Amsterdam and rooted in Turkish traditions, blends Anatolian folk and psychedelic energy with a distinctive ease. Saz and bağlama pair with analog synths, a precise rhythm section and guitar lines that streak toward the ’70s without oppressive nostalgia. The band returns with Garip, a tribute to the towering figure of Turkish folk Neşet Ertaş, where covers and original compositions converse around rearranged popular melodies, supple grooves and cinematic orchestrations. Turkish vocals, hypnotic modes and danceable pulses respond to one another, oscillating between a gentle trance and pop outbursts.

On April 12, 2026 at Atabal Biarritz, Altin Gün will bring Garip to the stage and unfold the alchemy that makes Anatolian heritage breathe in the present.
