Alice On The Roof

Alice on the Roof, a Belgian singer-songwriter, blends luminous pop with a discreet melancholy. Her clear, sometimes slightly husky voice established her in Belgium and led her to write “The Right Words,” an anthem commissioned for marriage equality. With Alice, her first album entirely in French, she refocuses her songwriting and faces head-on doubts, the present and the bonds that shape us. The record features contributions from Zazie, Clou, Noé Preszow, Adrien Gallo and Vincha, and includes a duet with Catherine Ringer on “Ma chérie” by Anne Sylvestre. Produced by Albin de la Simone, Paco del Rosso, Ambroise Willaume (Sage) and Kid Sophie, it weaves a delicate tapestry of piano, brass, synths and percussion.

On 13 May 2026 at the Palais de la Mutualité in Lyon, Alice on the Roof will present these songs and her emblematic tracks in a direct, sensitive format—between intimate confession and pop pulse. On stage she alternates piano-and-voice, electronic textures and airy arrangements, carried by influences ranging from Sigur Rós to Lykke Li, and from Emilie Nicolas to Agnes Obel. An evening to discover live this new Francophone chapter, close to the words and the melodies.
