Pablo Mira returns with a third one-man show, its title still a work in progress. In Pablo Mira Is Still Looking for the Title of His Show, the comedian takes on what drives him crazy in everyday life: the little frictions that build up, the contradictory demands, and the trends he watches go by without managing to keep up with—even with his HPI label (high intellectual potential). He unpacks his obsessions with a mix of confidences and deliberately assumed bad faith, and unfolds therapy-room scenes, conversations that spiral into the absurd, and controlled derailments. As the piece progresses, his neuroses become material for play, and his way of sabotaging his own life traces a narrative thread in which he puts himself to the test. The text moves between dry observations and methodical dissections of our modern foibles, with a keen eye for detail that stings without overstaying its welcome.
