On June 13, 2026, Paul Kalkbrenner will take over the Théâtre Antique in Vienne for an Encore-presented event. A producer and live artist originally from East Berlin, he came of age in the effervescence that followed the fall of the Wall and has built a rhythmic, melodic techno shaped by years on stage and in the studio. From his beginnings to the major European stages, he has refined a live format in which each piece evolves and is rewritten through contact with the audience.
He presents THE ESSENCE, his ninth album, featuring new tracks, a collaboration with Stromae and a tribute to Depeche Mode. On stage, synthetic textures, taut builds and crisp melodic lines succeed one another, blending new material with the standout tracks of his repertoire. An open-air appointment where his live set adapts to the venue and highlights the sonic identity that has become his signature.
