Alexis Le Rossignol « Le sens de la vie »

Alexis Le Rossignol draws his stories from everyday life, those grey areas where nothing seems to happen and yet everything is decided. In Le sens de la vie, he starts from a memory of a horse called "Sans plus" and from a desire that wasn't really a desire, to unfold tales from a human scale. He blends storytelling with small domestic philosophies, lining up brief scenes, digressions and questions we often set aside. What purpose do our choices serve? How do we negotiate our renunciations and our evasions to stay upright? With a crisp phrasing and precise prose, he establishes the situation and then shifts it just enough.

On April 4, 2026 at the Théâtre La Gaîté Rive Gauche in Paris, he unfolds this show like an open notebook: personal fragments, field observations, absurd micro-logics, whispered confidences. No grand theories—rather a sequence of details that gradually illuminate the question without closing it. You encounter interior dialogues, tiny lives, somewhat wobbly plans, and Alexis’s little leitmotif, somewhere between calm lucidity and feigned nonchalance.
