Jeremy Hababou

Jeremy Hababou, an Israeli pianist and composer, builds a bridge between jazz, classical music and echoes of the East. Trained at the piano and nourished by travel, he has developed a style in which improvisation meets composition, with clear themes, flexible rhythms and a keen awareness of silence. On stage he unfolds wordless stories—intimate miniatures, lyrical flights and motifs that evolve over the course of the set. His touch is precise, his phrasing breathes, and the exchange with the audience takes place without affectation.

He will be appearing on 25 April 2026 at the Théâtre Municipal de Colmar, in Colmar, for a concert focused on his piano and his compositions. Between classical reminiscences, modal harmonies and oriental detours, he weaves a repertoire that advances through nuances and contrasts. Each piece fits together like a chapter, with fluid transitions and controlled energy. It is a moment conceived for close listening: to let oneself be carried by the movement, then draw breath, in a solo where the essential element is the circulation of musical ideas.
