Alex Lutz « Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair »

Info

Alex Lutz returns with Sexe, Grog et Rocking Chair, a one-man show that examines the absent father figure, intergenerational transmission and what remains when objects pile up. Known for Catherine et Liliane and for winning the César for Best Actor for Guy, he unfolds a story with a human touch, moving between family memories, digressions and characters that respond to one another. Amid a bric‑a‑brac evoking Diogenes syndrome, he questions the place of the boomers in an age of QR codes and passwords, and probes the grey areas where embarrassment and laughter brush up against each other.

Written and performed by Alex Lutz and directed by Tom Dingler, the show alternates confidences, shifts of voice and sharply drawn portraits, in a flexible form that shifts from storytelling to direct performance. On Thursday 7 May 2026 at the Auditorium Jean Moulin in Le Thor, he stages absence and the need to leave a trace, weaving a series of tableaux that range from the cluttered living room to overflowing memories, for an intimate portrait that advances without pathos and allows both humour and reserve room to breathe.
