Covertramp

Covertramp pays tribute to Supertramp on stage and will perform at the Bourse du Travail in Lyon on 11 September 2026. This sextet of multi-instrumentalists recreates live the original arrangements and tones, along with the vocal harmonies that shaped the sound of the 1970s and ’80s. Electric pianos, keyboards, saxophones, 12-string guitars and a tight rhythm section come together for a set conceived as a journey through five major albums of the repertoire. On the program: "School", "Dreamer", "Breakfast in America", "Goodbye Stranger", "Take the Long Way Home", "Give a Little Bit", and not forgetting "Fool’s Overture." Everything on stage is played live to recapture the dynamics and precision of the studio versions. Two hours of music unfold the melodies, sax counter-melodies and Wurlitzer textures that became Supertramp’s signature.
