Info

Alan Stivell celebrates sixty years on stage in 2026 and is back on the road with Liberté. A harpist, singer and composer and a pioneer of the Celtic revival, he put the harp at the heart of contemporary music as early as the 1970s, blending traditional tunes, original compositions and a spectrum of influences from folk, rock and world music. His voice and harp build bridges between Brittany and beyond, between Breton, French and English, with arrangements firmly rooted in the present.

Throughout the concert, Alan Stivell moves between instrumental pieces and songs, revisits landmark themes and opens up new directions, supported by a compact ensemble that leaves room for nuance and breathing space. He engages with his inheritance in order to reposition it, balancing lively energy with acoustic delicacy.

Alan Stivell will be at the Théâtre Femina in Bordeaux on 6 May 2026 as part of his Liberté tour. It is an opportunity to experience him up close with his harp and voice, between tradition and broadened horizons.
