D'Jal « En Pleine Conscience »

D’jal returns with a new show that puts his characters back at the center of the stage. A chameleon-like comedian, he shifts from one voice to another, cycles through roles and adopts accents and backgrounds to portray everyday life without heaviness. He alternates direct stand-up with fully embodied scenes, moving at a brisk pace and using writing that leans on the small details of daily life. Family, friends, neighbors, commutes, little mishaps that become big stories: he draws on this shared ground to craft situations that veer off course with mischievous delight, while maintaining the self-deprecation that has followed him since his beginnings.

On stage, you’ll find his sense of rhythm and play—quick transitions, asides that break the fourth wall, and character sketches captured in just a few gestures. The aim isn’t to lecture but to share a moment, to laugh together about what we already know, from an angle that surprises just enough to reawaken the room.
