Cœur de Pirate

Cœur de Pirate, the stage name of Béatrice Martin, has been carving out a singular path in francophone pop for more than fifteen years. A Québécois pianist and singer‑songwriter, she moves between stripped‑down ballads and more driving numbers, with direct, sensitive songwriting carried by a clear, slightly veiled voice. Her songs read like intimate diary entries and immediate melodies at once, blending bright piano, electronic textures and choruses that lodge in the ear without overdoing it. She draws on a repertoire that has grown with her, from early pieces shaped at the keyboard to more luminous tracks, without losing that mix of embraced vulnerability and determination that defines her signature.

Cœur de Pirate will be at the MeM in Rennes on 21 March 2026. A date to rediscover this way of telling stories about love, vulnerabilities and resilience, with precise arrangements and an unvarnished stage presence, closely attuned to the lyrics and melodies.
