On March 11, 2026 at La Coopérative de Mai, Clermont-Ferrand, Bertrand Belin continues the journey opened by Tambour Vision. From La Comédie to L’Inconnu en personne, his songs build bridges between our modes of coexistence, quicken the tempo, let the strings swell and a singular voice rise. Since 2022 he has been expanding his universe in film—with Le Roman de Jim by the Larrieu brothers, following Tralala, and Valérie Donzelli’s L’Amour et les forêts; in theatre—with En travers de sa gorge by Marc Lainé; and in print—with La Figure, a vivid narrative inhabited by an alter ego who questions his origins. His scansion and taste for circular structures also inform Watt. On stage, Belin shapes a supple pop that sits between rock and chanson, shaded by jazz and blues, cultivating a crafted inner world to be shared. Precise writing, a strong sense of rhythm and a search for verticality guide these pieces, between discreet tension and breath, in a continuum where form and story answer one another.
