Verino « Rodéo »

Verino arrives at Le Liberté in Rennes on 28 March 2026 with Rodéo, a new stand-up in which he explores the contradictions that run through us. Rooted in reality yet standing on the edge of the void, he juggles the turbulence of our times—between everyday anxieties, collective absurdities and small flashes of clarity. Verino moves forward without detour, microphone in hand, with a sharp gaze, alternating precise writing and improvisation that slips just enough. You’ll recognize the sense of timing that carried Focus into many venues across France and the energy of his Dis Donc Internet clips, regularly recorded before a live audience.

Rodéo extends his way of capturing the moment to draw out stories that speak to everyone, with an intimacy that hits the mark. The staging is by Thibaut Evrard, with the collaboration of Marion Balestriero, Aude Galliou and Greg Vacher. A 75-minute show, suitable for ages 12 and up, to see Verino in direct contact with our era, balancing clear-sightedness and letting go, up close to the audience.
