D'Jal « En Pleine Conscience »

D’jal returns to the stage with a new show that puts at its center what he does best: a gallery of characters, rapid-fire accents and everyday situations given a good shake. Between stand-up and sketches, he moves from scene to scene with a well-honed sense of rhythm, skewering daily foibles and playing with cultural mismatches without being heavy-handed. His trademark is a blend of observation, physical comedy and storytelling, where each character finds their own voice, tempo and a measured touch of madness.

Straightforward and unadorned, D’jal strings together portraits and short vignettes, drawing on his own experience.
