Grupo Compay Segundo returns to France on 28 March 2026 at the Espace Cathare Quillan to present Vívelo, their fourth album. Led by Salvador, Compay’s son, the ensemble extends the story begun by the master while moving forward with new songs. The pieces move between tradition and modernity, drawing on the Cuban sound and opening it up to contemporary arrangements. Clear melodies, supple rhythms and vocal harmonies answer the guitars and percussion, in a spirit of serenade and popular dance.
On stage, the group juxtaposes its historical repertoire with recent compositions, adopting a measured approach that lets the rhythm set the mood.
