Comedian Anne Roumanoff presents The Experience of Life, a solo show that sketches our era with a direct gaze. From self-checkout machines to personal development, she explores shifting habits, unstable romantic relationships, changing words and those moments when we get all tangled up. On stage she alternates between confidences and characters, moving from a supermarket aisle to a dating app, from a family gathering to a coaching session, and observes what these scenes reveal about us. She doesn’t preach; she shifts the point of view and lets the absurdities of everyday life come through. The text draws on speech tics, stock phrases and small awkwardnesses to compose a gallery of concrete moments. Directed by Gil Galliot, the show emphasizes closeness and tempo. On 6 March 2026 she will be at the Salle de l’Étoile in Châteaurenard.
