Ahmed Sylla returns with Origami, a show in which he folds his trajectory to explore what makes a life: choices, joys, sorrows, small victories and failures that reshape us. For more than ten years the comedian has bent over backwards to make audiences laugh, and here he continues to question his possible paths: what shape would his destiny have taken if he hadn’t packed up and left, how much of us changes with each fold, and how we reinvent ourselves as we go. Between stand-up and character work, he unfolds everyday scenes and memories rearranged like origami: we fold, we unfold, and the perspective shifts. The tone remains direct, self-deprecation serves as the guiding thread, and the storytelling follows a clear line, without unnecessary detours, to relate a very personal story while staying firmly in the realm of laughter.
