LE SSERAFIM

Formed in Seoul in 2022 by Source Music, LE SSERAFIM brings together Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae, after debuting with six members. The group operates within K-pop with a highly choreographed pop sound, nourished by dance-pop, hip-hop, R&B and electronic accents, in a direct, tense aesthetic and often built around short, percussion-heavy refrains. LE SSERAFIM's story crosses several paths already exposed, notably Sakura and Kim Chaewon’s time in IZ*ONE, as well as Huh Yunjin's journey through Produce 48, while Kazuha brings a background from classical ballet training. From the mini-album Fearless in 2022 and Antifragile in the same year, LE SSERAFIM establishes a compact and mobile sound that evolves with the first studio album Unforgiven in 2023, enriched by Nile Rodgers' contribution to the title track. The group also develops activities in Japanese and English, with releases such as Perfect Night in 2023, followed by the EPs Easy and Crazy in 2024, extending a more international tilt without breaking with the Korean pop structure. Present on major pop stages and festivals, LE SSERAFIM has also embarked on large-scale tours, confirming a rapid trajectory between the South Korean idol industry and global circuits.
