Faustix

Born in Karise, Denmark under the name Morten Brangstrup Olsen, Faustix has since the late 2000s developed a career centered on club electro, between EDM, house, trap and bass music. Active since 2009, Faustix is part of a Danish scene oriented toward dance formats and hybrid productions, with a marked taste for direct rhythms, effective build-ups, and pop or rap choruses depending on the track. His discography initially builds through a string of singles, then through the Ballistix EP and Echoes in 2013, before the Imbecile maxi-single in 2015. Over the years, Faustix collaborates with several producers and singers, among them Diplo, Imanos, David Jay, Barbara Moleko, Snavs and Fabian Mazur, in a register that alternates between festival EDM, more melodic tracks and productions tailored for the club. Among his notable tracks are 'Revolution' in 2013 with Diplo, Imanos and Kai, as well as 'Come Closer' in 2016 with David Jay. Faustix has also circulated on international labels such as Warner Music, Epic Records and Sony Music, while maintaining a regular presence in Nordic and European electronic circuits.
