Info
The Lightning Seeds bring their Greatest Hits Tour to Rock City in Nottingham on November 25, 2027, for a night built around Ian Broudie’s most instantly familiar songwriting. Started in late-80s Liverpool as a studio project largely handled solo, the band sits right at the crossroads of indie pop, Britpop and melodic alternative rock: clean guitar lines, tight arrangements, and choruses that land fast and stay there.
Expect a set shaped by the 90s run that made them a fixture on the UK circuit, from the early solo-recorded spark of Cloudcuckooland through the wider, band-ready sound that followed. Along the way, Broudie’s knack for crisp pop craft produced staples like The Life of Riley, Change, Lucky You, Perfect and You Showed Me, plus the culture-crossing Three Lions. This tour is about hearing those songs back-to-back, in a proper live setting, with the band energy that turned a studio idea into a full-on singalong.
