Info
On 29 September 2027 at New Theatre Oxford, Belinda Carlisle brings her “It’s Been Heavenly Tour 2027” to the UK, with a set that naturally pulls threads between her punk-tinged beginnings and the sleek pop rock that made her a staple of late-80s radio. Expect big, direct choruses, clean melodies and that mix of bite and gloss she honed after The Go-Go’s era, moving through key solo chapters from the mid-80s to the 90s, with room for later turns that broadened her palette. It’s a chance to hear a voice that’s always balanced attitude and clarity, now carried by years of stage craft.
Joining her, London duo Go West add their own strain of melodic pop rock and blue-eyed soul: bright guitars, smooth grooves and the kind of polished, hook-first songwriting associated with 80s sophisti-pop. Their live set leans into the era’s synthetic shine while keeping it grounded in pop-song structure, built for sing-alongs and steady momentum.
