Info
On April 2, 2027, Oxford gets a jolt of sharp, no-frills British guitar music with From the Jam at O2 Academy Oxford. Built around the legacy of The Jam’s late-70s/early-80s run, the show taps into that tight mix of mod revival edge, punk urgency and punchy power-pop hooks that made the originals hit so hard.
Expect brisk tempos, clipped guitars and bass lines that sit right at the front, with songs that move from street-level snapshots to wider social observation, always direct and melodic. The spirit is simple: short, wired, and written to be sung back in a packed room, where the choruses land fast and the rhythm never lets up. If you’re into that very English blend of attitude and craft, this Oxford date is a chance to hear that catalogue in its natural habitat: loud, lean, and relentlessly moving forward.
