Info
On February 23, 2027, Jacob Banks will come to the Kesselhaus in Berlin, bringing this special mix of soul, R&B and pop to the stage—a blend that carries as much gospel power as it does modern, crisp productions. At the center is his deep, husky voice: sometimes intimate and up close, at other times like a storyteller over expansive arrangements that weave together guitars, horns and electronic textures. Banks plays with dynamics, gives ballads room to breathe, and then again pushes songs forward that have more edge and rub against contemporary blues or alternative pop. Those who know him know: for him, it’s less about slick show moments and more about songwriting, stance and that cinematic tension that naturally builds live. In Berlin, this is likely to be an evening that swings between quiet reflection and collective participation.
