Info
On January 30, 2027, Kolinga settles in at La Cigalière in Sérignan, with its music that moves through soul, jazz, acoustic groove and song, threaded with influences from Central Africa. Centering on Rébecca M’Boungou, a singer, author and composer, the collective defends a repertoire conceived for the stage: a clear voice at the center, backing choirs that respond, percussion at the forefront, and brass and keyboard colors that open up the space.
In their tracks, the intimate rubs shoulders with the political without forced discourse: memory, transmission, emancipation, ecology… everything passes through narratives, images, languages that intersect. Driven by a genuine group dynamic, the live performance thrives on listening and dialogue between timbres, with a sense of constant movement. An evening to rediscover the collective energy of Kolinga and the Earthshine universe, their album released in 2022.
