Info
On March 17, 2027, Thrown bring their Unwanted North America Tour to Toronto, stopping at The Opera House with the kind of tight, physical set that made them a name in Sweden’s new hardcore/metal crossover wave. The Stockholm band writes in short bursts: heavily down-tuned riffs, jagged, syncopated grooves, and shouted hooks that hit fast and don’t hang around. Expect compact songs built for movement, with a dense rhythm section up front and structures that go straight to the point.
Lyrically, Thrown stay on the raw side, circling anxiety, anger, and the pressure points of relationships. It’s metalcore informed by hardcore and edged with modern nu-metal weight, the same direct aesthetic they locked in on their EP Extended Pain and kept pushing on the road since. This Toronto date should feel like a release valve: no long speeches, no filler, just impact.
